Asian esports organization Talon Esports has officially partnered with ExitLag, a software and online gaming technology company. While the financial details of the partnership were not disclosed, this collaboration aims to enhance the performance of Talon’s teams across multiple divisions.
As part of this partnership, ExitLag will provide network optimization solutions for Talon’s competitive teams in League of Legends (Taiwan), VALORANT (Thailand), Dota 2 (Philippines), and Arena of Valor (Thailand). ExitLag’s technology will enable players to enjoy a more stable connection, reduced latency, and an overall optimized gaming experience.
In return, Talon Esports will promote ExitLag through exclusive content and display the company’s logo on team jerseys during various domestic and international tournaments.
ExitLag, a Florida-based company, utilizes multi-route technology to optimize data pathways in real-time, effectively reducing lag, packet loss, and connection disruptions for players. In addition to Talon Esports, ExitLag has also partnered with the Brazilian esports team paiN Gaming.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Hong Kong, Talon Esports competes in 11 game titles, including Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG Mobile, Street Fighter, TEKKEN 8, and StarCraft 2. With an aggressive expansion strategy, the organization now operates across eight markets in the Asia-Pacific region and has secured partnerships with leading brands such as ZOWIE (hardware), Secretlab (gaming furniture), Carniva (streetwear apparel), ThundeRobot (gaming hardware), and Monster Energy (energy drinks).
Last year, Talon expanded its presence in Europe by establishing a base in Malta, collaborating with the nonprofit organization GamingMalta. Additionally, Talon has been active in the web3 ecosystem, partnering with Perion Labs and Apeiron, an NFT-based MOBA game.
Co-Founder and CFO Jarrold Tham emphasized the importance of this partnership in his LinkedIn post. He stated that as a competitive esports organization, Talon is committed to ensuring its players perform at the highest level. With ExitLag’s multi-route technology, Talon athletes will benefit from better connectivity, lower latency, and a more stable gaming experience—critical advantages in professional esports, where every millisecond counts.
